While your... odd... tactics seem to be somewhat effective, unfortunately your staggering motions and a bit of the pain from your wounds cause your aim to be a bit off. One man is caught directly in the stomach and drops to his knees, spurting blood from his damaged organs. One is merely grazed, a bit of cloth tearing away, and the third senbon misses completely.
Tired of being tricked, the men -the two still approaching- let out furious battle cries and charge at you.
One is on either side of you, and one aims for a low-to-high slash while the other seems to be trying to skewer you. Thankfully such attacks are easy to see coming -and hard for the user to recover from- and you dodge them both skillfully. The two turn to face you once more, and approach slowly this time, perhaps trying to work out a strategy in their minds as to how to deal with you.

Dang. As interestin' as this might've turned out, it ain't workin' at this point- that's three senbon down, twenty-one senbon left, twelve soldiers to go.
My world narrows, sharpens- and I truly focus. I need to get serious.
Can't give 'em time to think things through- gotta hit 'em hard and fast, before the other guards arrive. Two guards attacking, one guard still standing back... I whip out two senbon, hurling one at each of the approaching opponents- one flies towards one guard's knee, the other towards one guard's stomach.
That done, I leap back into the shadows of the forest- where I have the advantage.

This time the guards are much better prepared- the one whos stomach was aimed at expertly deflects the projectile with his sword, and the other dodges.
On an even dimmer note, you're finding that your head is bleeding a -bit- more than you'd intended.
Perhaps just getting away would be safer than staying and fighting...
But, of course, currently, you're engaged. So you turn and run to the woods, seeking the cover and shadows that enhance your fighting style. The two fighters are encouraged by their display of 'not being hit' and follow you into the shadows and brambles.
Those buffoons- while you hop nimbly through the woods they make loud crashing noises, alerting you of their presence. It seems they left behind the guard who was calling the others, so for the time being the two following you are the only ones you have to face.
OOGM: Basically you can decide when you want to fight them (or not to fight them). Just say what you want to do and I'll GM the fight. You can assume that you'll stop to fight them in a location in which you have the advantage.

Oh dear... I've understimated them. If I want to have any chance against these guys, I'll have to stay within the cover of the forest. Twelve guards left... for a moment, I think of just running.
Of course, that's not even a choice. Guard. I can't just go back on my word and leave 'im behind.
Back to the subject at hand- I gotta clean these guys up, one or two at a time, from where they aren't lookin'. Ignoring the blood running down my face- I'll take care o' that later, and besides, I might still be able t' use parts of my plan- I make a sharp right, ducking out of the guards' sight range. After runnin' for a few seconds more, I come to a hard stop and attempt to conceal myself within the shadows, waiting for any sign of the guards.
Then, I'll see what I'll be able to do. Nineteen senbon left...

OOGM: For safety's sake I won't let you wait until you faint from blood loss MinazukiAfter a few minutes, there's no sign of the guards coming back to where you are. Perhaps it would be safe to exit hiding. After at least fifteen minutes, you're sure the guards have given up (oogm: And I am too, so take my word for it) and gone home. However, you have no idea how to get back to 'Guard', and calling out might not be a good idea given the fact that there's no doubt someone searching for you.

OOC: Augh. Sorry for the late reply- got sidetracked by life in general.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
... I think it's safe enough to do something about the fact that my head's leakin' more blood than I knew I had. Lessee... bandages, bandages- ah, here we are...
As I clumsily wrap the bandages bandanna-style around my forehead, where the blood's coming out, I keep an eye an' an ear out for any guards... but it seems like they've all gone elsewhere. Hmm. Maybe they gave up, or they decided that they don't need twelve guys runnin' around lookin' for me...
Either way, it'll hopefully make life a bit easier. Now, t'see how Guard's doin'. I'm a little worried about bein' able to find him, but... coming out from the tunnel, I only ever walked in one direction- to the southwest. Or at least, what I percieved to be the southwest.
That in mind, I strike off in that direction, keepin' quiet and to the shadows. If I don't hit a clearing in a few minutes, I'll know that I've headed in the wrong direction...

OOGM: No worries. Sorry for my late update, got sidetracked by lack of internet. Wait, that's not sidetracking.

You better be glad you told him you'd come back for him, because if it weren't for that he wouldn't have been calling out and you wouldn't have heard him and would have passed right by him.
As it is, you miscalculate the angle and are going in a direction that would not lead you to him. But you heard him, and found him. All's well that ends well, eh?
As you approach, you see relief in his features.
"You... you really came back," he says. "There are doctors in... Kyoto. But I... don't think we should go there. Let's... head for... Hiroshima... to the west-southwest."

I sigh in relief as I somehow manage to find Guard (before the -other- guards did), and I smile at him weakly, doing my best to ignore and conceal the fact that I've got knife slices around my head. I don't think that plan was a good idea, as interesting as it might've turned out...
"Sorry t'keep you waitin'," I say, picking him up once again and setting off. I'd better hurry- Guard seems to be gettin' weaker. "Yeah, I don't think goin' to Kyoto would be a good idea, too," I reply to his statements. That'd... sorta be something of a deathwish. And I'm not ready to die yet.
'Course... "Wonder if there's any place smaller than Hiroshima that has doctors..." I think out loud, doing my best to remember the last time I'd glanced at a map.
I'm silent for a moment longer, before I finally decide to ask a question I'd had in mind for a while. "By the way... I don't think I ever caught your name," I chuckle slightly. It'd be a pity if we didn't make it out of the next scrape, without me at least knowing Guard's name.

"My name? I'm... Hon Kura... And you? Subaru...-san, right?"
Just as he's saying this though, you remember nearby Wakayama, a small town near the shore in the southwestern regions of Tora. From there, you could find doctors, and also easily escape Tora if need be, by sea.
