Tengri
Numazu is a nice place, but its' not much different from any town in Ryu. They're all the same, quiet, still like a pond.
And your arrival there is somewhat like a raindrop, for as you set foot and begin looking around for a boat to Wakayama, you sense something off, something unlike the the quiet stillness of the other Ryu cities you've been in.
The harbor is large, many long wooden decks and piers running out into the water, small fishing boats moored everywhere. Some big trade ships from Kame seem to be docked. People scurry around, unawares of exactly what's wrong.
You see something, a shimmering ghost of an image of a scene, a picture of a giant bear rampaging through the harbor, crushing the boats. It's not real, but it's not a hallucination, either...
Everything seems normal, then.
If no one is disturbed, then why should you be? Those are your thoughts at the exact moment that an arrow flies out of nowhere and pierces the chest of a merchant walking along the deck from one of Kame's boats.
The gathered people panic and begin scurrying around randomly.
