You were not so much called to Kitakyushu as opted to go on your own. When your family had seen the posters, they had ignored them, thinking you'd stay with them in the mines. They were happy with their position, for, among the miners, they were quite rich. But finally, you had to leave, and so you did. You remembered the posters, and asked for directions to Kitakyushu from an old lady who was tending to a store front. After getting your posessions together, you left. It was a long journey, along a good quarter of the perimeter of the island from where you lived. But you made it alright, your rugged strength from working in the mines paying off in the form of great endurance. By the time you got to Kitakyushu, your will to join the military had been lessened only by your will to get out of the cold. You passed into the first inn you came upon, on the outskirts of town. Proceed to the RPG.
