Seiichi
You aren't sure, due to the speed with which you executed your move, but you think you saw the hint of a glance of approval in the eyes of the kid. Then the scabbard moves as fast as lightning and pushes back the claw of the kusari-gama. The kid smiles, winks, and then drops the scabbard as he's kicked off his feet.
Akira
The attack seems to be a perfect success- Keijin Seiichi's weapon disarms the kid's right hand weapon and your kick doesn't give him time to wield the katana in any useful manner. However, you could swear something weird happened, as instead of merely being swept off his feet, the stranger flies backwards a foot, dead on into the wall, creating a loud crashing sound that sent the samurai in the room straight out of dream land and into the loud, insane reality that is daytime.
All
Everything happened so fast, no one's sure exactly what happened. But the kid's katana is stuck in the ground, his scabbard lies on the floor alongside Seiichi's claw, and the kid himself is lying against the wall.
He slowly picks himself up as yells of "What the hell is going on?" and "I was having a good dream!" rise up.
He looks at the two of you with an intense glare, and then addresses the room.
"Everyone, these two men attempted to rob me."
He reaches into his right sleeve and pulls forth a thin metal rod with holes dotting its length. He puts one end to his mouth and begins making strange whistling noises.
Instantly, samurai begin picking up weapons- all katana- and slowly form a semi circle around the three of you. The kid places his instrument back in his sleeve and then makes a gesture with his arms.
"Show we what you got!"
And he shimmers and disappears.
__
It seems every single one of the samurai in the room is intent on killing the two of you. That means 13 naked katana are pointed at you.
Feel free to control the NPC samurai as you wish so that you might be able to write a chunk without waiting for my reply. Enjoy your punking of the stereotypical samurai!

Akira
"What a dirty trick!" cursed Akira in response to whatever ruse the young lad had just pulled. He outstretcched his arm to catch his falling jacket, ready to do... something with it again if the neded be. He called out to Seichi, "Looks like we're in for a big fight,; these men seem bewitched. Yet the bewitcher methinks has not yet left, by the sound of his words. We'll show him something indeed, but be careful,. These are Kame's men. 'Twould be a pity if they or us were hurt unnecessarily. Just rough them up a bit. Should be good training."
He then stood in place, facing the encroacing line of men. He announced to them, "Know, kind sirs, that you are tricked, and that while you may have to be put down, that the deed was done not by thieves, but by peers looking out for you and Kame."
Then he ran towards them, and thrust his arm with the jacket out, launching the rippling dark blue fabric over the mob's heads. He lept forward, and then disappeared in a cloud of smoke as a group of four attacking samurai now found their blades cutting through fabric, and not flesh. Another cloud of smoke erupted above them as Akira's nomble hands found their way to the temples of the heads of the middle two samurai, and in a swift motion Akira smashed their crania together and pushed them down with his weight. Then, he pushed back up as he brought his feet up on either side, digging his toes into the outside men's faces as he lept back from the scene and behind the fray.
Holding out his hand so as to receive a thrown object, he shouted across to Seichi, "Throw me the safer of your chain's two ends, and hold on to the other tight!"

Keijin Seiichi"What a dirty trick!" Keijin heard Akira curse. He himself though was eyeing the encroaching samurai nervously. He had fought before, against bandits and the like, but this much in one morning was of putting. He never would have guessed he’d be fighting for his life just minutes after getting out of bed. He began to spin his chain to build some momentum, but not too fast as to spare his strength. Behind him Akira was also getting ready to enter combat. "Looks like we're in for a big fight; these men seem bewitched. Yet the bewitcher methinks has not yet left, by the sound of his words. We'll show him something indeed, but be careful. These are Kame's men. 'T would be a pity if they or we were hurt unnecessarily. Just rough them up a bit. Should be good training." Keijin’s only reply was a hesitant “Euh…” but Akira had already addressed the mass of opponents. His talking was comfortable in a way, as Keijin realized that while Akira spoke, the men would not attack. "Know, kind sirs, that you are tricked, and that while you may have to be put down, that the deed was done not by thieves, but by peers looking out for you and Kame." Keijin could hear him charge, and as if a spell was broken the entire room seemed to set in motion. Keijin gave more reign to the chain now describing wide and menacing arcs above his head. Normally he would already have taken the initiative of the attack, but Akira had said not to harm these men. How was he supposed not to harm them? He never learned defense! Always if he attacked it would be to inflict as much damage with as little possible effort. Fortunately he was not givin any more time to hesitate as a shout of Akira reached him. "Throw me the safer of your chain's two ends, and hold on to the other tight!" Keijin did not question the man’s call, and as quickly as the situation allowed Keijin obliged. He wheeled the chain around twice, spinning along in the second arc, giving momentum to both the claw and sickle to create a large circle of space between him and his adversaries. Then as he wheeled on end passed him he changed the momentum from the sickle’s horizontal arc to vertically and launched it towards Akira. The chain slid through the loose grip of his bandaged hand, easing the heat of the metal friction. “Catch!” Keijin alerted his comrade. Akira evaded the blade of the sickle masterfully, grasping the handle in midair and using the weapons speed to give it a massive pull. At the same moment Keijin leapt as hard as he could into the air, lending strength from Akira’s powerful tug. He made an impressive jump through the air, barrel rolling twice before landing on his feet, his Kusari-gama flailing dangerously around him and shielding any attacks. Upon hitting the earth again he flawlessly used the speed he had gained to his weapon and the advantage of surprise he was given. At the beginning of an arc Keijin abruptly wheeled alongside his weapon and gave it as much momentum as his own weight allowed, to release his grip on the chain on the key moment so that the sickle shot forward at the samurai nearest to him. The man leaped back to avert a hit, blade skillfully kept in front of him to keep his guard. Keijin compensated the lack of contact by spinning round and bringing round the other end of his chain with the momentum build. The claw swept low, smashing one man too slow to jump aside right in the knee. A crack and a scream erupted but Keijin ignored him out right, pulling on the sickle end of the chain, sending it wheeling through the air to come down quickly on another samurai. Too late to dodge the man raised a katana to bear the blunt of the blow. As the chain and katana met the sickle wheeled around the blade, cutting a nasty scar over the warriors face while the katana was locked tight in the chain. Keijin wheeled backwards, pulling the sword out of the injured mans hand. Using the force of momentum Keijin launched the entangled katana free from the chain with a strong downward twist of his arm. The katana snapped loose, lodging itself firmly into the inn wall, inches from another warrior’s face. Keijin cursed silently when he spotted his miss, only then to realize he was not intended to kill any of these men. OOC: Hope that was somewhat like you meant, James

All
Those not injured flee before the mighty wrath of the two of you combined.
Suddenly, you hear the sound of air rushing and the green-clad kid is standing against the wall, leaning with his arm along the katana that is stuck in it.
"So you can do more than run," the kid says lazily. "Excellent. You'll do perfectly. Now, come with me, if you will."
And with that, he stood up straight, pulled the katana from the wall, and walked towards the door.

OOC: Weird. For a while the site would only display the header O.o
Keijin Seiichi
The fight was short lived, and those not injured decided to flee. With the last samurai gone Keijin relaxed his muscles and the sickle and claw made a heavy thud on the ground. He took in a deep breath and exhaled whistling as he stared at the inn’s door, paused a second, then in a massive change in look from serious and pensive to smiling and free minded began rolling up the chain.
“That was fun.”<br> When he heard the rushing of wind behind him he span around fast, sickle in his hand, readily available to put up a second fight. There leaning against the wall stood the green clad kid, arm resting on the katana that was still lodged in it.
"So you can do more than run," he said lazily. "Excellent. You'll do perfectly. Now, come with me, if you will."
Keijin’s eyes shot between the kid walking away, and Akira standing further down the tavern. He then raised his shoulders signaling they might as well could have a look at what he wanted. With a somewhat nonchalant sway to his thread Keijin began to follow, pausing at the bar where he left a few coins from his meager capital and left a quick note in the tavern’s log stating “Terribly sorry for the mess”.
“Least we can do for the poor innkeeper, ne?” Keijin smiled at Akira.

Seiichi
As you move to follow the green clad youth, he suddenly puts up a hand, palm towards you. His eyes harden, and you can tell that he's silently saying 'don't move'. He has his other hand at his face, one finger over his lips. He turns slowly, looking out into the bright morning.
He then turns back to you.
Seiichi and Akira
The kid beckons one last time before fully walking out the door. It definitely seems as though he's not forcing you to do anything, but it's also clear that he wishes for you to follow.
Fu
As you pass by a rather rickety looking inn, you see a green clad kid, no more than fifteen by the looks of it, walking down from the entrance of said inn.
He turns to face your little group, composed of about ten samurai, an officer, and a medic, and then looks straight at you with intense eyes.
He makes a hand motion, and suddenly a sturdy looking staff is in front of him, held lightly between his finger tips. He twirls it onces as a magician would a cane, then brings it down between himself and your group, the whole time looking at you.
He speaks.
"All of you here- you soldiers. I hate to tell you this, but you're destined to die. But you-" he turns to you "-you have not yet sealed your fate. Before anything else, fight me!"
He makes a 'come on' motion with his free hand.
One of your samurai readies his sword but the officer stops him.
"I don't know who you are, stranger, but you are hindering Kame's forces. We will not take action against you, but mind your own actions if you treasure your freedom."
So saying, the officer signaled to the samurai to follow him and walked past the green clad kid. As the medic passed you, he murmured 'good luck', then, with a fearful glance at the youth, scurried on.
It seems this staff wielder is up for a fight.

Ducky. Futatsu looked carefully at the fifteen year old staffjerk. He didn't look like a prophet; at least, no prophet Fu had ever seen. No soothsayer, not really a magician. Just a staffjerk. And staffjerks are not safe, Fu reminded himself sternly. A staffjerk is the kind of person who knows what they're doing with their weapon enough that they don't need a killing edge. If the boy had pulled a knife, Fu would have been a little less concerned. As 'twas, the boy already had an advantage. The pole gave him, what, three feet advantage? Four feet? This was not a battle to charge blindly into, regardless of what the samurai wanted to do. "Cain't 'magine why you'd be in'nerested in me..." Fu tapped his foot, beating out a tiny rhythm on the dirt with shoes that could stomp a snake's head flat into the dust. "Jus' an herb'list, mate. Why else would I have just sickle, when there're swordjerks and knifejerks about?" He squinted a little, lowering the brim of his hat to conceal what he was doing with his eyes. He could charge, probably close the distance quickly, but only if this kid let his guard down. Unlikely, Fu unhappily thought.

Fu
"Fufufufufu," the boy laughs quietly. "Of course, those I see don't see themselves. Because, after all, I'm the one who sees them. I do not seek to defeat you to take your honor nor your pride nor your life. I merely wish to test your skills. If you don't come at me, I will come at you!"
He swings his staff around to behind his back, and then stretches out his other hand, three fingers standing straight up.
"San!"
___
The staff is five feet long. The road the two of you face eachother on is pretty nondescript, a simple dust strip between rock gardens and ramshackled wooden buildings.

OOC: Out of curiosity, in Japanese, are last names put first? Otherwise I’ve been placing them backwards and it would explain why Flak is persisting in putting Seiichi above my updates Seiichi KeijinKeijin followed the young man towards the door, only to be stopped by the kid holding up a hand at him and signaling to be quiet. Puzzled Keijin listened intensely, trying to identify what it is the other hears, and very vaguely makes out the approaching of marching warriors. The green clad boy again motioned for them to follow and Keijin moved to the door. By the time he stood in the entrance of the inn the kid had already gotten into a run in with the group of soldiers. The leading officer had taken the word and replied to whatever it is the boy had said. "I don't know who you are, stranger, but you are hindering Kame's forces. We will not take action against you, but mind your own actions if you treasure your freedom." And with that the officer signaled his men to move on. One of them, a man wearing a scruffy looking rice hat, lingered behind to exchange a few words with the boy. Out of reach for Keijin to hear the conversation seemed calm from where he was standing; but being curious as always, he moved closer. At that point the green clad boy, of whom Keijin realized he still didn’t know the name, laughed at the man with the rice hat, and the last words of the conversation where spoken loud enough for Keijin to understand. “…merely wish to test your skills. If you don't come at me, I will come at you!" The boy in green swung his staff around to behind his back, and then stretches out his other hand, holding up three fingers. "San!" he shouted brief but forcefully, and a fight was clearly on its way. Again against better judgment Keijin intervened, running towards the boy in green. “Hey hold it! What’s the big idea? I was willing to follow because I’m curious, but you can’t just go about attacking everyone we encounter! He didn’t do anything wrong!” then between his teeth murmured to the man with the rice hat “You didn’t do anything wrong, right?”

"Di'n't do nothin'," Fu squinted, trying to see what he was thinking. The sickle didn't feel even slightly damp - damn! The poisons had probably crusted. What was the last thing he'd put on it? Was it the redherb, the beautiful lady, or nightkiss? "I'm jus' an herb'list, mate," Fu continued, "'n' I dunno whatchoor friend wants wi' me..." Two of them. And I'm Two. Isn't that lovely? Fu grinned without humor to himself. Were the men robbers, monks, or wandering madmen? Robbers would anticipate improvised weapons, monks probably trained without weapons... For his sake, Fu hoped dearly that the two men were simply insane. Or, failing that, he'd be able to move quickly enough if the staffjerk made the first move.

OOGM: The last name isn't really first, seeing as the first name is still the first name... to make it less complicated I'll say that the family name is first and the given name is last; the first name is still first and unless you're very familiar with someone you'd call them by their family name (their first name). I've been saying Seiichi because I was being familiar, but if you meant Keijin as your given name I'll use that one instead Fu and [Keijin Seiichi/Seiichi Keijin]"He may not have done anything, no," the boy says slowly, addressing Seiichi, whilst still facing Futatsu. "But regardless, things are going to happen to him. I'm not attacking him, as you might or might not know I'm just testing his strength." He lowers one finger. "Ni!" He twirls his staff once more and lowers it to his side, before turning to Keijin Seiichi. "Oh, and if you don't terribly mind, could you fetch my hat for me? I think I left it in the inn. Many thanks," he says, smiling forcefully before turning his gaze back to the new arrival. "What are you waiting for? Ichi!" And so saying, he dashes forward, swinging his staff back so as to complete a stronger blow. ___ Fu: Your sickle is currently devoid of poisons Seiichi: The kid's rice hat lies on the far side of the inn, should you look for it. OOGM: James, post!!

Duck! Fu might have dropped to the ground faster if the staff had actually made contact with his face - at least, that's where he thought the staffjerk was aiming - but he probably would have fallen over backwards, clumsily, and injured himself with the sickle on the way down. As it was, he found himself in a crouch, slightly oblique to the attacker, with one leg at a splendid angle to try to hook the staffjerk's legs out from under him. "Watchit!" Fu growled, shooting out his leg and searching for something solid to either ram or hook, scrabbling over the ground for a handhold with the right hand as he maintained death grip on the sickle in his left. "I'm a del'cate li'le flow'r, I am! Dun wanna bruise me too bad, eh?"

Fu
Just as you think you've got the kid tripped he jumps into the air at a completely different angle from his original charge, does a flip in midair, and then comes crashing down, his staff inches from your face, him, standing over you. You feel the earth shake as his staff makes contact.
Thankfully he has not directly injured you in any way. He seems to pause, but is still tense. Due to the fact that his left leg and right leg are on your left and right sides (respectively) getting up might be hampered...

OOC: hehehe, alrighty, for clarities sake, Keijin is his first name, Seiichi is his family name. I’ll just put it as I always do.
Keijin Seiichi
"Oh, and if you don't terribly mind, could you fetch my hat for me? I think I left it in the inn. Many thanks,"
Keijin had only the time to look puzzled and slightly offended at the kids demeaning behavior, but before he could make a reply he went at the other guy.
"What are you waiting for? Ichi!" He dashed foreward, swinging his staff back for a stronger thrust. The staff swiped through the air, in the backwards movement nearly hitting Keijin who stood only feet from the boy. Surprised Keijin staggered back, tripping over a loose branch on the road and falling backwards on the muddy road.
“Chikusho!” muttering frustrated curses he picked himself up again, whipping the mud and dirt from his jeans. Fortunately this cheap fabric from America was made for miners, and could stand to get dirty. By the time he had gotten back to his feet the others had already concluded their fight, the green clad kid now sitting on top of the other who was firmly pinned down against the ground.
“Are you done beating up innocent by passers already?” he objected irritated, moving towards the two to help up the one pinned down.

OOGM: Gah, been sick. Sorry guys. And Saurus, I'll be callin' ya Keijin from now on then.
Keijin
The green clad kid looks up at you and smiles apologetically.
"Innocent passerbys? Hmm. Sounds like a lot more fun than my actual task."
He steps away from the man on the ground, bows to him.
"Let's head out now, shall we?" he asks you, before turning back to the man on the ground.
Fu
The man gets off you and steps back before bowing respectfully.
"I apologize for treating you so harshly. Please, come with me, along with these other two," he says, motioning towards the young man in front of the inn and another man just inside the inn.
OOGM: James, post!
